Important Info -
On Wednesday, September 26th we'll be celebrating Johnny Appleseed's birthday with an apple day. We have an early dismissal that day, but we'll jam it full of apple fun!
We have a room parent! Our Sailors are lucky to have Nathan Seymour as our room parent this year.

Wonders Unit 1, Week 4 Our essential question is “How do we care for animals?” We will work on asking and answering questions about our reading as well as identifying key details in our stories.
In writing we'll continue to work on the stages in the writing process. We're working on our first personal narrative.
We will continue Chapter 2 next week. The students are off to a good start! Ask them to draw you a quick picture of a 3 digit number or write it in expanded form.
We are working on writing personal narratives. I meet with small groups as they work to help them edit and go over our current focus of using capitals and punctuation.
We're continuing our study of ecosystems. Last week we planted our very own cups of grass seed. We also learned about pollination!
